A Question...

Can anyone tell me what makes any of us "worth" saving? Is it how "good" or "nice" or "loving" or "tender" or "moral" or "agreeable" we are?

There's only one thing that makes any of us worth saving. We were made by God, in His image, and for His glory. Our utter worthlessness without Him reveals the glory of His grace more fully by contrast. Don't you think?

David Wilkerson said that a jeweler who wants to display a beautiful diamond does so by setting it in a bed of the blackest velvet--it's brilliance shines all the brighter because of the blackness of the background. We - our hearts, our flesh, our stubbornness, our pride, and our idolatry - are the blackness, and God's glory is the radiant diamond! :)

Not because we are good , or nice ,or loving , moral, or agreeable , but for the express purpose to declare HIS GLORY among the people(s) , to declare HIS LOVE for sinners(Jn.3:16):NOTHING in my hands I bring simply to Thy cross I cling as Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners , of whom I am cheif . THOU ART WORTY , THOU ART WORTY , THOU ART WORTY OH LORD . TO RECEIVE GLORY , HONOUR AND POWER , THOU ART WORTY ,OH LORD . FOR THOU HAST CREATED , HAST ALL THINGS CREATED , THOU HAST CREATED ALL THINGS . AND FOR THY PLEASURE THEY WERE CREATED , THOU ART WORTY ,OH LORD!
